Slow Day

I did do some work just not everything I wanted to. I worked on the Sans 2024 Holiday hack and did Curling for Fun. I am writing notes on it because while I thought I had a good understanding what the curl command was, I clearly didn't know as much about the command as I thought I did. Connecting securely and unsecured, passing a cookie, connecting using raw and custom headers, or that curl would change the URL unless you tell it not are all things I learned. I need to work on this more.

I also worked on the Cisco Aspire Networking Game. The contract was to install six new computers, a network capable printer, add new Operating Systems to each computer, and business and medical billing software to each computer. This was not a hard thing to do, but listening to specific words being used was important. The contract said six NEW computers. I bought six refurbished ones. It didn't go well against my bottom line. Listening to the task information is always key.
