So this week I continued working on the Packet Tracer Labs. I created a small network and started with configuration. I am hoping this helps me gain knowledge in network configuration specifically with cisco tools, but I'd also like to gain my CCNA along with my Network +. I found after the initial page in the command line interface pops up the user will have to press enter. This will bring the user into User Exec Mode.

The user will be able to give some basic commands, but it will not give the user deeper knowledge into the cisco device such as patch version, mac address or ip address.

To get that information the user will need to Privileged Exec Mode this mode would give more information about the cisco router or switch. To enter this mode the user will have to type the work enable and press enter.

The higher level mode that allows for configurations is Global Configuration Mode. To enter this mode the user will have to press config terminal or the abbreviated command config t and press enter. This stuff is pretty basic and there was a lot more but for more commands look up, https://www.netwrix.com/cisco-commands-cheat-sheet.html

There are many websites that have the cisco commands available but I felt like this one was a good walkthrough for keeping the pace with the course.
